Corporate Projects
ProdataKey
ProdataKey is an access control company that focuses on saving life and property through a mobile first experience; allowing you to control your security on the go at any time. My job was to create all their formats of videos whether they were educational/resources, podcasts, social or comedic pieces. Each video leaned towards the main goal in educating their partners and being a resourceful place to understand the capabilities of their system and how it worked. This was a fast paced environment in which I had to script, produce, film, edit, develop motion, sound design, audio produce, cut for socials and send each video for approval within a 1-3 day deadline; amounting to about 10-16 videos being produced every 2 weeks. Each one of these videos below were all created by me, with the exception of my co-writers who helped me write the scripts and the people who participated in the video.
Education and Resources
The Feature Highlight Series is a collection of videos that I had created to highlight some of the advanced features that ProdataKey(PDK) had in their software. Each video highlighted one feature and gave an in-depth explanation of the capabilities of that certain feature; allowing installers (PDK's partners) and end-users to understand their system a little bit more. In this particular video to the right, the series explains how PDK's automatic updates work and how it could effect you when an updates hits your system. The video used motion designed to help show how it works when an update gets sent to your PDK system.
The Product Discovery Series is somewhat similar to the Feature Highlight Series in which it highlights an in-depth view of the hardware instead of the software that ProdataKey (PDK) sells and provides for your access control system. These videos focus on only one product at a time to make sure that PDK's partners can receive the outmost detailed video of what they could possibly installing. This not only helps partner's learn about the hardware, and see if it could be used for their next installation; but it is also used as a selling promo, so that their partners are more aware of all of PDK's line of products that are available and how they can be used.
Podcast
The Big Access Podcast was one of my very first projects that I worked on and created when I started working at ProdataKey. The Big Access Podcast (BAP) was created to connect people to PDK. I wanted to create something that showed that access control is not only about being serious and protecting people, but also a conversation that can be had amongst people, whether it is casual or more intellectual, that can be enjoyable and fun. I wanted to connect people to access control while also teaching them what PDK is capable of when it comes to an access control solution. Showing that PDK are real people that are no different than anyone else. I wanted to show that the company cares about their representation, but also how they get there, especially with their partners.
Comedy/Education
The PDK Office was a series of videos that I was inspired to create due to one of my co-workers, Sean, loving to dress up as a character named, Bearded Dwight, on his live gaming streams and of our love for the mockumentary series 'The Office.'. This series was an idea created by Sean and I to bring comedic relief in a tech/security company that is usually filled with seriousness by other companies. The video not only brought a bit of comedic relief, but it was also to highlight either a certain hardware product or software feature that PDK had available. This series thrived in the security world with multiple security tech magazines, articles and companies recognizing the approach that PDK was taking to market. Although this series was not received well in the beginning, it later became one of the biggest connections to how sales in PDK were recognized and able to show that PDK is about humanizing the security industry.
Case Study
Case Studies were projects that sent me to different states to film and create videos that can be shown to both our partners and end-users on how PDK is working for other consumers and how they utilize the system or a certain selling point feature to their full potential. Case studies were a selling promo to help others understand that ProdataKey provides essential features and products that triumph other competitors. In this particular case study, we travelled to Minnesota to film a famous auto-body shop, Shannon's, that work on various old vintage, newer models, luxurious and track cars; that was secured by ProdataKey's access control system.
Tous les Jours is a Korean/French inspired bakery that sell a list of desserts, foods, and drinks that are a bit unique and different from usual bakeries. I worked with the bakery to take photos on site to showcase some of the items that were sold at their actual stores.
The Bean Yard is a coffee shop located in Sandy, Utah that prides itself in making their own kind of roasted beans, from farming to roasting, and serving a delicious cup of coffee through the most organic processes. These are just few of the photos that were taken for their social content as well as other digital assets. These follow along side of atmosphere and product placement, to help others feel the the type of environment that is present at The Bean Yard.
